Thank you for your interest in renting with Fridley Theatres! Listed below are the available packages and pricing for rentals.
PRIVATE MOVIE RENTALS
Any new release currently playing at The Palms the day of your event is available for your group to view. Admission prices vary a little by time of day: children (12 & under) are $9 and adults (13 & up) are $10-13.
- PACKAGE A:
Private Dine & Recline Auditorium. These auditoriums have a capacity of 35 and a dedicated server, allowing all guests to order food and beverage right from their seat! For private events, we charge a $25 booking fee plus require a minimum of 28 tickets purchased. If the party is less than 28, the difference will be entered as child admissions to reach the ticket minimum for the private viewing.

There is a food and drink minimum of $100 and 18% gratuity on these purchases. Checks can be split between families/attendees to reach the combined minimum.

Private rental times are daily at 11:30am, 3pm, and 6:30pm. Auditorium rentals are 3 hours: 30 minutes for arrival/seating/ordering, feature presentation, and then any remaining time can be used for party activities and visiting.

If you are celebrating a birthday, we do allow cake or cupcakes to be brought in and you are welcome to open gifts in the auditorium.

- PACKAGE B:
Party Room & Traditional Auditorium. The party room can be rented for 3.5 hours; an average of 1 hour for the party and 2 hours for the movie, plus 30 minutes for setup. For this option, your party will receive priority reserved seating for any current afternoon or evening show in IMAX, XLD, and all traditional auditoriums. Movie start times vary and are determined every Monday for the following weekend. We suggest party room rental times of 10am-2pm, 12:30-4pm, 2-5:30pm, or 5-8:30pm.

Depending on your group size:

Half the party 0-18 children; $100 rental rate and $50 of that can be applied towards food and drink purchases.

The full party room will be used for groups with a guest list between 19-33 people. It’s a $200 rate and $100 of it can be applied toward food and drink purchases.

We also have party pizzas (cheese, sausage, or pepperoni) for $16.99. These are cut into squares with approximately 16 pieces. A 3-day notice is necessary in order for our kitchen to prepare.

A popular concession combo is the #3 kids pack. It's popcorn, M&M's or Sour Patch Kids, and a fountain drink. There are a couple of sizes and prices to the #3:

16 oz. drink - $7.50 + tax.

22 oz. drink - $8.00 + tax.

16 oz. ICEE - $9.00 + tax

For private parties, we do offer $1 off all concession combos purchased.

PRIVATE GAMING RENTALS
Gaming rentals are hosted in our Dine & Recline auditoriums with seating up to 35. These auditoriums have a dedicated server, allowing all guests to order food and beverage right from their seat!
Reservations can be made in hour increments for just $100 per hour. There is a 2 hour minimum plus a $25 booking fee. We also have a food and drink minimum of $100 and 18% gratuity on these purchases. Checks can be split between families/attendees to reach the combined minimum.
The full concession and restaurant menu is available to order through your server and menus can be found by clicking or tapping here. We have a special gaming combo, for $10 per-person it comes with unlimited soda & popcorn, and a choice of one concession candy; ICEEs are just an extra $2.

- We will provide an HDMI cable that is connected directly to the projector (we also have an AV converter for older consoles)
- We will provide power to the consoles, but you must bring the original power cable
- Our building is equipped with open Wi-Fi
- Additional consoles are allowed, but only one can be hooked up to the projector at a time
- Additional TVs are allowed to be brought in for extra screens
