Birthday Parties
Based on theatre location, date/time, and feature, we extend the following birthday benefits to those parties who call in advance for a regularly-scheduled show:
- We offer birthday packages to groups of twelve or more.
- We are not able to discount admission prices, but we do allow the birthday boy or girl to attend their movie for free.
- We offer a $1.00 discount on every concession combo that the group purchases.
- We can reserve seats in the auditorium for the birthday group. Subject to availability.

Special Show / Event Information
We welcome the opportunity to host special showings/events in our theatres. In order to do so efficiently, we ask that interested individuals or parties adhere to the following guidelines:
- We require notification a minimum of three weeks in advance of the selected date. Additionally, due to changing film studio bookings, it’s difficult for us to forecast feature/content availability much more than a few months out.
- With inquiries or to finalize a show/event, visit our “Parties, Events, and Special Showings” link at fridleytheatres.com or reach out to your local theatre manager.
- All showings are subject to approval by the Fridley Theatres’ corporate team.
- We can utilize only one auditorium per show, and our seating capacity ranges by location.
- Available Days/Start Times:
- Start times/show windows vary by location.
- Based on studio contracts, we are unable to offer showings/events inside of our regular operating hours.
- That is, they must take place outside of normal business hours.

- Monday-Thursday: Available morning- 4:00 P.M.
- Friday: Morning- 1:30 P.M.
- Saturday and Sunday: Morning- 10:30 A.M.

- Individuals or parties will provide us with their content.

- With the concession stand open: $200.
- With the concession stand closed: $250.
- The renter is responsible for providing their own hard drive/DCP.
- They must secure copy rights for a public viewing.
- Our fee includes only auditorium rental.

- Our fee includes equipment setup/tear-down and auditorium rental.

- We will not allow any other feature format without specific approval.
- Rates may vary.
- For Major Studio Content:
- We’ll secure a booking with the studio on behalf of an individual or party.
- Previously-released Studio Material (older movies): Between $550 and $750, depending on the studio. Disney/Fox titles are not available.
- Current Studio Material (movies that are on-screen at the time of the event): Our matinee rate per person. We require a minimum of 50 attendees.
- For Meetings/Events (without a movie):
- Without an Equipment or Setup Need:
- With the concession stand open: $200.
- With the concession stand closed: $250.
- With an Equipment or Setup Need:
- With the concession stand open: $400.
- With the concession stand closed: $450.
- Rates are based on a three-hour block of time and may vary.
- Without an Equipment or Setup Need:
- We accept payment in the form of cash, business check, or credit card, and we are able to prepare an invoice, if necessary.
- For Independent Content:
- Other Items:
- The renter must drop off the hard drive/DCP or DVD to our manager at least three days before the showing.
- Advertising:
- We can assist with advertising at our website and/or in-store.
- Website: The renter must submit a PDF of his or her poster or flyer to the theatre’s email address.
- In-Store: The renter must drop off physical copies of his or her poster or flyer to the theatre.
- FB and other Social Media: These options will require additional approval from our team.
- We do not offer discounts on concession purchases, nor do we allow bulk popcorn purchases for in-theatre events.
- We do not allow outside food or beverage.
