Get ready Transylvanians -- It's time for The Rocky Horror Picture Show! Join us for a late-night screening celebrating the 50th Anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show with LIVE Shadowcast Flustered Mustard. Eager to do The Time Warp? Great! We can't wait to have you! Never seen it? Throw on your mother's high heels and fishnets, 'cause you're in for a treat! The longest-running midnight movie of all time stars Tim Curry as the mad scientist from Transylvania Dr. Frank N. Furter, Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick as his hapless guests Brad and Janet, Meat Loaf as motorcycle-riding rough trade and author Richard O’Brien as the hunchbacked butler Riff Raff. It’s harmless musical fun—a delightful spoof of Hollywood horror movies and Old Dark House melodramas. Become a part of the movie by shouting out lines with the cast as well as throwing props to mock the action on screen. The Rocky Horror Picture Show was the first—and is still the best—interactive movie experience! Dressing up is HIGHLY encouraged! Rocky Horror isn't Rocky Horror without the corsets and lipstick. Each ticket includes a Prop Bag ($5.00 Value) with all the necessary items for the evening. For the safety of everyone involved, outside Prop Bags will *NOT* be allowed at the screening. Bag checks will happen at the door, so please use common sense (dangerous items will not be allowed in). The cast will have a whole slew of t-shirts, stickers, buttons, and other items for sale as well.
Tillie (Isabella Roland), a floundering young woman and her charismatic, alcoholic father (Craig Bierko), struggle to resolve their fractured relationship in the weirdest possible way: after he dies, his ghost appears in mirrors to haunt everyone in the family but Tillie. Tillie’s sister, Violet (Vic Michaelis), mother (Claudia Lonow), grandparents (Mark Lonow and Joanne Astrow), stepfather (Jonathan Schmock), and even Violet’s free-spirited baby daddy (Nick Marini), must do everything they can to make Tillie see her father… even employing a very reform rabbi (Eddie Peppitone) to exorcize him… or else they will be plagued by this ghost forever.
MY OMAHA follows filmmaker Nick Beaulieu as he returns to his hometown amid the rising tensions of Donald Trump's presidency and the Black Lives Matter movement. Fresh out of college, he meets Leo Louis II, an independent activist, who introduces him to Omaha's activism roots, including the birthplace of Malcolm X in North Omaha. Simultaneously, Nick grapples with the strained relationship he has with his pro-Trump father, Randy, who is suddenly diagnosed with stage-4 cancer. With a newfound sense of urgency, Nick strives to reconcile with Randy through a series of difficult conversations. As the city faces crisis after the death of a protestor, we see Leo’s efforts to unite Omaha. And as national politics further divide Americans, we see Nick and Randy’s ability to bridge their differences. All together, MY OMAHA paints the portrait of a city grappling with family conflict, political and racial discord, and the difficult search for common ground. MY OMAHA encourages viewers to consider how these challenges register in their own life, providing an example for how embracing conversation with one another can heal divisions and create a better world.
At the Opera of Paris, a mysterious phantom threatens a famous lyric singer, Carlotta, and forces her to give up her role (Marguerite in Faust) for unknown Christine Daae. Christine meets this phantom (a masked man) in the catacombs, where he lives. The iconic moment when Mary Philbin removed Lon Chaney's mask in "The Phantom of the Opera" (1925, dir. Rupert Julian) is one of cinema’s most enduring images. Now, The Invincible Czars will bring their signature blend of eclectic instrumentation, adventurous arrangements and sense of emotional depth to this 100-year-old classic with a new soundtrack, performing it live with the film in art house cinemas across the US and Canada in 2025. The Invincible Czars have been making adventurous, fun music with a cinematic flare for lovers of everything in the "other" category since 2003. We started out in the clubs of Austin, TX but our eclectic instrumentation and broad scope quickly led us to crossovers into the fine arts realm nationwide. We still make music that's just for listening but our tastefully-modern silent horror film scores have earned us the nickname "The Masters of Silent Horror" at independent cinemas all over the US and Canada where we perform live with movies like Nosferatu (1922) and Phantom of the Opera (1925). Think of us like a combination chamber ensemble / rock band mixing strings, woodwinds and other orchestral instruments with drums, bass and guitar.
